Trigger

Another university project, Trigger is a metal plate litho print series. It represents what sometimes happens when I am triggered by something that happens outside my mind. It’s often that I dissociate to “get away” from whatever is triggering bad memories. This piece is meant to represent specifically dissociation, and when the “lights are on, but no one’s home” sort of situation. I react many different ways to triggers, so this is just one of many. I am very proud of this piece, as it symbolically means a lot to me, and the process I went through to make it also meant a lot to me at the time.
